We are Stardust: The Source of Our Power

We have the power to love, and the power to fear. We have the power to be compassionate, and the power to be self-absorbed.

Where does this power come from? The Source of our power is the Source of all of creation. Spirit, God, Yahweh — whatever name you give it — is ultimate, universal and omnipresent.

This powerful energy is like electricity. We plug ourselves into the sockets of power, and we become channels of power. God is not a person but a life-force for Good. Separateness from others results in separateness from Spirit and the Earth. This division results in violence, isolation, and Empire Consciousness. This way of viewing life and everything is hierarchical, competitive, fear-based, scarcity-based, and dominating.

We are one in the Spirit. The Spirit of Oneness (Oneness Consciousness) is our legacy, coming from the Unification of all of creation. This is the Garden of Eden. “We are stardust, we are golden, and we have to get ourselves back to the garden,” sings Joni Mitchell in the song “Woodstock.”
