Mike Obsatz’s Porch and Fireside Talks

In these YouTube videos, Mike states “I am sharing with you some of the things that I have learned over my eighty years of education and growing up. My hope is to help make the world better, one person at a time, by having people be more in tune with their own lovability and more enabled and wanting to love others.”

Dr. Michael Obsatz is a Professor Emeritus, from Macalester College. He taught Sociology and Education courses at Macalester for 40 years. Also, he was a therapist in private practice, men’s group leader, boy’s group leader, workshop presenter, and author.

His book, Raising Nonviolent Children in a Violent World won the 1999 Minnesota Book Award and the Catholic Press Association Award. His other books are Open Our Eyes, Healing Our Anger, and From Stalemate to Soulmate.
