David Tillman is a semi-retired hospital, hospice, and volunteer sheriff chaplain. Before his second career as a chaplain, David worked in corporate printing sales and marketing for over 30 years. He is an ordained United Church of Christ minister and has been involved in men’s work for 30 years. The idea of this Life’s Journey website has been a dream of his for many years, and he is populating it on an ongoing basis. Dr. Michael Obsatz has been his mentor and friend for over ten years.
Dr. Michael Obsatz is a Professor Emeritus, from Macalester College. He taught Sociology and Education courses at Macalester for 40 years. Also, he was a therapist in private practice, men’s group leader, boy’s group leader, workshop presenter, and author. His book, Raising Nonviolent Children in a Violent World won the 1999 Minnesota Book Award and the Catholic Press Association Award. His other books are Open Our Eyes, Healing Our Anger, and From Stalemate to Soulmate.
